Cattolica Retro: Three Days of Music, Style and Vintage Atmosphere from 31 May to 2 June

From 31 May to 2 June, Cattolica will be transformed into a journey back in time with "Cattolica Retrò", a unique event dedicated to the timeless charm of the 1950s and 1960s. Piazza Primo Maggio, Via Bovio and the surrounding areas will be the backdrop to a re-enactment full of emotions, music, style and vintage culture. An unmissable event for tourists, fans of the genre, and anyone who wants to experience three days under the banner of the Riviera's 'Dolce Vita'.

The event transforms the city into a veritable time machine with vintage Lambrettas, vinyls, pin-ups, vintage vans, beat music and boogie woogie, paying homage to the spirit of an era that profoundly marked the history of the Romagna Riviera.

The programme opens on Friday 31 May with the gathering of vintage Lambrettas, starting at 2.30 pm in Piazza Primo Maggio. At 3.30 pm the parade will start, taking the colourful scooters as far as Gabicce Monte, before returning to Cattolica in the evening with the arrival in Piazza del Tramonto.

On Saturday 1 June, the rhythm will pick up with the DJ set of Eddie Piller & Friends from 5 pm, followed by the live show of the famous Montefiori Cocktails, ambassadors of the Italian sound in a lounge and retro key.

Sunday 2 June will be a day entirely dedicated to vintage style and dance. Starting at 3 p.m., among vintage markets, food trucks and live music, there will be performances of swing dancing, lindy hop, boogie woogie and rock'n'roll, thanks to exceptional performers such as Antonio d'Elia (Aj Dj), Miss Cherry Lady and Mr Ingo Swing Singer. The grand finale will be entrusted to the concert of the Ol' Boogies Band, with the great classics of the 1950s and 1960s, followed by a "DJ Battle" that will see the best vintage DJs on the Italian scene compete to the rhythm of music.
